The National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC), the Bradfield Development Authority (BDA), and the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF) have today joined forces to drive investment in Australian advanced manufacturing.

Under a new collaboration agreement, the three organisations will share industry trends and insights, convene industry briefings and events, and create a pipeline of referrals for new and emerging Australian manufacturers.

High-potential businesses will also be able to test and improve their ideas and prototypes at the AMRF, enabling them to scale, commercialise, and compete across the entire manufacturing supply chain.

By leveraging the strengths of the NRFC and AMRF, the manufacturing sector will benefit from more joined-up support from Government. This will help drive industrial transformation and sovereign capability, connecting emerging manufacturers with the nation’s newest innovation cluster in Bradfield City and with expert technical support and potential funding pathways.

Bradfield Development Authority Chair, Jennifer Westacott AC said: “Our partnership with the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation links industry with the capital, expertise, and infrastructure required to position Australia as a leader in advanced manufacturing and drive economic benefits for Western Sydney and beyond.”

“The NRFC makes commercial investments that strengthen Australia’s manufacturing capability and drive economic transformation, and our partnership can help to strengthen the pipeline of businesses taking their manufacturing capabilities to the next level.”

National Reconstruction Fund Corporation Chair, Martijn Wilder AM said: “Bradfield City is set to become a hub for high-value industries, and the AMRF is already providing manufacturers across Australia with the technology and expertise they need to test and prototype their ideas.”

“By working with the BDA and AMRF, we are helping to connect emerging Australian manufacturers with the capital and technical expertise that they will need to scale their businesses and unlock long term economic value.”

The NRFC is Australia’s sovereign investor in industrial capability. It invests commercially to help diversity and transform Australia's economy, driving long-term economic growth and competitiveness.

The BDA is the NSW Government agency leading the development of Australia’s first new city in 100 years – Bradfield City – positioning it as a key hub for high-growth industries.

The AMRF provides cutting-edge manufacturing infrastructure and advisory services, creating a pipeline of investment-ready businesses that can commercialise and scale onshore.

This partnership aligns capital, capability, and industry growth, reinforcing advanced manufacturing as a driver of long-term economic success and productivity across the economy .
